RETURNS FOR EXCHANGE


Your exchange will be shipped out to you via regular shipping at no additional cost. 


Free Shipping on Footwear Exchanges


At Policefeet.com we want you to be happy with your purchase! If you want to exchange an item, simply drop us an email and we'll respond with simple instructions on how and where and how to send your item(s). It's fast and easy!

Here's how it works:


  1. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
  2. We'll respond within 1-2 business days with a return authorization form to put inside the box.
  3. Drop off the package at the your choice of shipping location.
  4. We will send an email that confirms your return/exchange and provides you with a record of your request. When we receive the item you've returned in the original box, in like-new condition, we'll get your replacement item shipped as quickly as possible. 

 

Please note, we do not recommend ordering your replacement boot as a separate order and bypassing our exchange process as, when returning your original item, you may incur additional costs as a result of credit card and other processing fees we incur.  See returns for refund below.


Can I wear my boots outside and then return or exchange them?


No. When you try on your boots upon arrival, do so on carpet. Again, if they are polished or worn outside and you wish to return them, we will not accept the boots. Please note, this policy does not apply to comfort guarantee footwear.  Return policies on comfort guarantee footwear vary according to manufacturer.


RETURNS FOR REFUND


How to do it:

  1. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page
  2. We'll respond within 1-2 business days with instructions for your return.
  3. Drop off the package at the your choice of shipping location and you're done!
  4. We will send an email that confirms your return/exchange and provides you with a record of your request. When we receive the item you've returned in the original box, in like-new condition, we'll get your credit issued as quickly as possible. 

 


Please note: Any unauthorized returns will be refused.

 


Will I get a full refund if I return my boots?


If you return your boots for a refund we will refund you 100% of the cost of the boots, excluding original shipping cost. Please note, if your boot was shipped via "free shipping," that means that the shipping charge was included in the cost of your boot and a fee of $15.00 will be deducted from the amount of your refund. Qualifying footwear items may be returned for up to 60 days from the date of purchase. Non-footwear items must be returned within ten days of the date of delivery. Items that show visible signs of wear, including creased leather, cannot be returned.


Note: This does not apply to returns for the first free size exchange.


When we receive the item you've returned in the original box, in like-new condition, we'll get your credit issued quickly as possible.   Policefeet.com reserves the right to charge your credit card for shipping costs associated with your return, if the returned item is not in like-new condition, or if the item did not qualify for free shipping.



DEFECTIVE ITEMS


 A defective item is described as having imperfect or faulty manufacturing.  We will send the defective item to the manufacturer for determination.  Once determined to be defective the item will be replaced or repaired.  Normal turnaround/warranty repair is 4-6 weeks.  Once the item is deemed defective we will replace it at no cost and pay to ship the item back to you. Please note, warranties vary by brand. Typically boots are guaranteed to be free from manufacturers defects for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.


Note:  Our warranty covers items deemed defective only, misuse or willful damage will render the warranty void.


Here's how it works:

  1. Send us an email describing your defect.  (please include your name, order number and order date as well).
  2. We'll contact you within 1-2 business days.
  3. After we've provided you with a return authorization number and instructions, send the item to us (Freight prepaid by yourself please. We do not accept COD packages).

 

COMFORT GUARANTEE RETURNS


At policefeet.com we want you to be comfortable in your boots.  If you wear your boots and find they are not comfortable we offer a comfort guarantee return on select styles.  This applies only to worn footwear.  


Timberland

Must be returned to the manufacturer.  You will find complete instructions on their return policy on the tags on your boots.


BATES DURASHOCKS

Please return these boots to us and use the regular forms above.  Include the comfort guarantee claim on your return form.  The boots must be shipped back  at the customers expense and arrive within 30 days of original delivery.  The boots are exchangeable as per regular first exchange program.  If this is a second exchange additional shipping will apply.  If a refund is requested, a $15.00 fee will apply to recoup the shipping costs.  Expedited shipping costs are not refundable.


Magnum 

Please return these boots to us and use the regular forms above.  Include the comfort guarantee claim on your return form.  The boots must be shipped back at the customers expense and arrive within 60 days of original delivery.  The boots are exchangeable as per regular first exchange program.  If this is a second exchange additional shipping will apply.  If a refund is requested, a $20.00 fee will apply to recoup the shipping costs back to a manufacturer. If the you are requesting a refund for a comfort guarantee boot and have already taken advantage of our "first exchange program," an additional $15 fee will be applied (total of $35).  Expedited shipping costs are not refundable.


Additional conditions:  One comfort guarantee per customer per 12 month period.
Please note: due to the additional expense incurred with comfort guarantee returns, when exchanging worn comfort guarantee footwear for another style or size, the customer will pay shipping and handling costs on their replacement boot.



NON-FOOTWEAR RETURNS

  3. Drop off the package at the your choice of shipping location and you're done!
  4. We will send an email that confirms your return/exchange and provides you with a record of your request. When we receive the item you've returned in the original box, in like-new condition, we'll get your credit issued as quickly as possible. 

 


Please note: Any unauthorized returns will be refused. 


Will I get a full refund?


If you return your item for a refund we will refund you 100% of the cost, excluding original shipping charges even if included in the base price. In order to recoup our shipping costs, a fee of $10.00 will apply to all items returned for a refund unless you paid for priority shipping.  If you paid priority shipping fees, you will be refunded your entire cost minus the shipping fee.  Non-footwear items must be returned within ten days of the date of delivery.

 

When we receive the item you've returned in the original box, in like-new condition, we'll get your credit issued quickly as possible.   Policefeet.com reserves the right to charge your credit card for shipping costs associated with your return, if the returned item is not in like-new condition, or if the item did not qualify for free shipping.


After filling out this form, you'll receive an email within 2 business days with instructions.  If you don't receive the email, you can check the status of your return, request by logging into your account using the credentials from your original order confirmation email or by clicking "forgot password."  After your request has been reviewed, you'll see a ticket under the "My Requests Section."  Just click on the ticket ID to see your return instructions.

Canceling an order:
If you need to cancel your order, please call us immediately.  As we attempt to have your packages sent as quickly as possible, orders can be cancelled the same day that they are placed but often not afterwards. If the item has shipped or has reached a stage in processing such that it cannot be cancelled, you will receive your package and can initiate a return at that point. We apologize for this inconvenience.  Please do not refuse shipments as the freight and processing charges levied by the shipper are significant and will be deducted from your refund. These charges typically range between $20 to $40 depending on the order.





Credit Card Charge-backs


Please note, the above policies will apply to all return requests.  Any credit card chargebacks will result in legal action including a report to the police department having jurisdiction over the credit card holder's address, a submission to all credit reporting agencies and the account being sent to collections.
